Manohar Sughandhi & Co. was established in 1930 by Late Mr. Haribhau Atmaram Ganu. That was a very humble beginning of resale business of agarbatties and some of the pooja Sahitya After some years Haribhau started manufacturing green and red masala agarbatties, which were contemporary famous agarbatties. He also made conical lumps of Dhoop & sandlewood powder which are known as Dhoop Sticks nowadays. As the Dhoop lumps ware shapeless and brutal they could not attract people. After some years his son Late Mr. Manohar Ganu joined the business and took up R & D work in his hands. He gave the Dhoop lumps a proper shape and good as well as natural fragrance which made the Dhoop Sticks famous in very short period. He also blended some very popular incence like Heena, Parijatak, Chapha, Ratrani etc. Heena and Parijatak achieve fame not only in Maharashtra but also in Karnataka state. After some years his son Mr. Shrikant Ganu joined him in business of Manohar Sugandhi & Co. who kept the same tradition of giving new concepts and products to people. Today’s famous product sp. Keshar A shtangadha is the fruit of his research on contents of conventional Ashtagandha.
